The protagonist, Ichirou, is an alluring high school student, and he has been nurturing deep-rooted amorous emotions for his childhood friend Tae. He intends to reveal his true feelings to Tae, hoping for an idyllic and perfect romantic first encounter akin to the ones portrayed in his treasured shoujo manga volumes. However, contrary to his expectations, Tae misconstrues his confession, assuming that he is confessing his inclination towards Boys Love manga instead of her.
