Obaachan wa Idol summary:
Momoka Yamada is your typical 16-year-old girl, living with her dad who works at a TV station and her mom. Like many families, they also have a strict grandmother, Yamada Tamaki. However, Tamaki's life was forever changed when she had an accident at the TV station and was electrocuted, resulting in her appearance resembling that of a 16-year-old Yamato Nadeshiko. Things become complicated for Momoka when Tamaki decides to enroll in high school with her granddaughter. Not only is Tamaki beautiful, she's also cultured, polite, and still holds onto her traditional ways. Momoka's crush takes an interest in Tamaki, leading to jealousy and the need to protect her grandmother. The manga also includes several one-shots titled Keshin Panic, Ichigo Gyuunyuu na Yatsu, Uchi no Hide, Uraha Umi, Kaeru to Hime no Dilemma, and Daisuki!
