Rampaging monsters from the neighboring Demon Forest wiped out the Kingdom of Endalgia, leaving Mariela, a young alchemist, as the lone survivor. Utilizing the "Magic Circle of Suspended Animation," she managed to escape and evade certain death. However, her prolonged slumber put her out of commission for far longer than intended. With no other alchemists left standing, even low-grade potions have skyrocketed in price. Still, Mariela attempts to find some semblance of a peaceful life within the ruins of the capital, Labyrinth City. Despite her dire situation, she secretly sells her potions and tries to enjoy what little relaxation she can manage.
