The Chronicle Of Seven Cities summary:
The setting of the story takes place on Earth in the near-future, following a catastrophe that shifts the planet's polar axis by 90 degrees. This kills everyone on the planet, except for a colony situated on the moon. The moon-based team proceeds to repopulate Earth by creating seven cities in crucial positions. However, to maintain allegiance from the Earth colony, an orbital defensive mechanism is established from the moon that shoots down anything flying above 500 meters. After an unforeseen virus wipes out the entire lunar population, humanity is confined to Earth, and the political drama among the seven cities persists.
