Love Lies summary:
Japan is grappling with a low birth rate in the future, prompting the government to roll out the "Yukari Law"—a matchmaking system that pairs 16-year-old children based on genetic compatibility. Dubbed "The Red Threads of Science", the policy is widely embraced by society and comes with stiff consequences for non-compliance. Sadly, time is running out for Yukari Nejima as he approaches his 16th birthday. He decides to declare his affections for Misaki Takasaki, a beautiful and popular classmate he's held a torch for over the past five years. Miraculously, his feelings are reciprocated.
